Free Local Delivery Explained

I thought I’d shine a little light on how our free local delivery works, because it’s a little different from your usual online shopping experience!

If your order comes to £10 or more, you’ll unlock the Free Local Delivery option at checkout. It won’t appear until your basket reaches the £10 minimum spend.

Now, this isn’t delivered by your typical courier… it’s delivered by me and my little car!

To keep things manageable, I’ve set a 15-mile radius from Whiffiest Wafts HQ in Stillington. The minimum spend and delivery radius simply help cover the cost of fuel, so I’m not doing a 30-mile round trip to deliver a single Snap Bar (as much as I’d love to!).

I always try to get local deliveries out as quickly as possible. My aim is usually next-day delivery, although every now and then I manage to get them to you on the very same day!

Now for a little confession…

By now you’ve probably realised I’m a bit of a worrier. If a delivery involves somewhere that gives me slightly intimidating vibes (usually busy town centres!), I may choose to send your order via InPost instead. Don’t worry—you’ll still receive free delivery, it’ll just arrive through InPost rather than me personally.

So, if you ever receive an email or text from InPost after choosing local delivery, there’s no need to panic. It’s simply because I let my inner scaredy-cat win that day!

And finally…

If you’ve ever opened your front door to a slightly awkward person clutching a bag of wax melts, avoiding eye contact and making an awkward joke before making a swift escape… yep, that was almost certainly me! 😂 Socially awkward is definitely my middle name.

So that’s the story behind Free Local Delivery. It’s simply me personally making sure your wax melts arrive safely at your door (or occasionally letting InPost take over when my bravery takes the day off!).
